It regards the production of a flexible panel for vibro-acoustic comfort for interior and exterior applications, in heating and conditioning devices, to drastically reduce noise and vibrations.

Enviromental Benefits

  1. Enviromental Benefits First of all, unlike the existing product for vibration isolation on the market, in the proposed technology, it is possible to utilize recycled materials, such as plastics and rubber. This allows to recycle and re-use approximately 30 kg of materials for each square meter of panel. Secondly, the vibration energy can be converted into electric energy. Thus, it is possible, on one hand, to power the sensor network, used to monitor the system conditions, and, on the other hand, to reduce the total energy demand of the machinery to be isolated. Furthermore, by optimizing the maintenance processes, it is possible to extend the residual useful life and, thus, reduce the carbon footprint of the machinery.
